Buying electricity and gas in NSW

Since 2002 NSW small retail energy customers have been able to choose their energy retailer and can choose between having electricity supplied via a regulated (or standard) supply contract from their regulated supplier (EnergyAustralia, Integral Energy or Country Energy depending on where a customer lives) or a market (negotiated) contract from the retailer of their choice.

There are many energy retailers in NSW, each with different prices and products on offer. Myenergyoffers enables you to compare the regulated offer and the various market offers available in your area.  You are free to choose the retailer you want, and the offer you want. This can involve switching to a new retailer, or staying with your existing retailer, and signing a market contract. Alternatively, you can choose to stay with (or return to) your Regulated Supplier and be supplied on a regulated or standard contract.
